If you're not sure how to activate your card, contact your card issuer. If you're using a new card for the first time, make sure it has been activated. Your card will be declined if it is out of date. Your card is not expired and has been activated.

If you paid for an item on eBay using two cards and are due a full refund, each card will be refunded the amount it was charged at checkout. Additionally, you can only split payments for purchases made in Australian dollars (AUD).

You can't use this feature with PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Zip or Afterpay at this time. To add a new card, simply select Add new card and enter the card details. You'll need two credit or debit cards saved to your eBay account to split payments.

I do wish eBay would start making buyers have a debit or credit card on file that would automatically pay for their purchase at the end of the auction or when they hit the buy button.You can pay for most items on eBay with Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Had thieves maxed my credit card instead of a debit card the difference is I would still have my money in my bank account. Then I went to Wal-Mart and was going to pay with my bank credit card and they offered if I applied for a credit card through them I would get 10% off my purchase. I charged a few things and paid on time and then magically I started getting offers in the mail, which I ignored. I took $500 out of savings to back the card. My bank suggested a secure credit card with a limit backed by savings. It wasn't bad credit for being late on bills, just no established credit my bank told me. I had no credit card either and paid cash for everything, thus I had no credit history. You really should have a credit card because you might need it if you have an emergency.
